PENGARUH KEDALAMAN BERBEDA TERHADAP HASIL TANGKAPAN BUBU DI PERAIRAN KARANG DUSUN WAITOTA, MALUKU BARAT DAYA
Abstract
Pemanfaatan alat tangkap bubu di ekosistem terumbu karang merupakan pendekatan ramah lingkungan dalam aktivitas perikanan, namun efektivitasnya sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan, salah satunya adalah kedalaman perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kedalaman berbeda terhadap komposisi spesies, kelimpahan, dan ukuran ikan hasil tangkapan bubu di perairan karang Dusun Waitota, Kecamatan Babar Barat, Kabupaten Maluku Barat Daya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus hingga Oktober 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan total 297 individu dari 37 spesies ikan berhasil tertangkap, dengan variasi komposisi spesies antar kedalaman. Kedalaman 7–9 m menghasilkan tangkapan tertinggi (104 individu), nilai CPUE tertinggi (2,08 ekor/bubu/hari), serta rata-rata ukuran ikan terbesar (23,13 cm dan 241,06 g). Uji Kruskal-Wallis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik terhadap ukuran ikan (panjang dan berat) antar kedalaman (Asymp-sig < 0,05).
